Duration and salary information
This is a temporary assignment, for up to 3 months with a possibility of further extensions. There shall be no expectation of contract change or renewal at the end of this assignment. This post is offered to candidates who are available to work full-time and have legal eligibility to live and work in the UK.
The salary will be £2,109.50 per calendar month, exempt from UK income tax.

Purpose of the Post
The overall objective is to assist in the creation and dissemination of content across a wide variety of communication channels. The incumbent will be responsible for a variety of administrative and other duties in support of a number of specific communication and outreach-related projects and initiatives.
The position calls for an experienced organizer and administrator with experience within the communications sector, ready and willing to bring his or her experience to bear within a broad range of communication disciplines. Indicative examples of specific areas of involvement are on page 2 but the role will have a broad remit and these are not to be considered exhaustive. The role will be under the direct supervision of the Head of Public Information Services, and will also be required to report on occasion to the Head of the External Relations Office.
Required competencies
a) Ability to work effectively in a team while interacting with many stakeholders.
b) Demonstrated ability to work in an independent manner under minimal supervision.
c) Ability to adapt to a broad range of tasks and prioritize the workload; good organization skills.
d) Organized, thorough and excellent attention to detail.
e) Initiative and good judgement.
f) Familiarity with standard MS Office software.
Specific professional experience:
a) Experience in the communications sector, journalism, web editing or similar.
b) Experience of project management and co-ordination
Language Skills
Excellent proficiency in English is essential.
Other Skills
Proficiency in communication-related disciplines and tools would be desirable – for example, InDesign, Photoshop, web design and content management tools, in particular SharePoint.
